Election Commission officials visit Surat collectorate

Surat, July 31 (UNI) Election Commission officials visited the collectorate here today to examine work regarding voter identity cards and other details pertaining to the electorate in the city.

Election Commissioner Jai P Prakash sought details about the new election cards and told officials at the commissionerate to incorporate names of persons who were left out in the new list.

He said that if any voter's photo had been lost, it should be informed to the District Election Officer, who should immediately provide new voters cards to such electorate.

The meeting was attended by Chief Election Officer Vinod Babbar, Joint CEO Ashok Manek, under secretary Ashish Chakravorti, District Collector T Natrajan among others.
