Delhi CM, Ministers meet President

New Delhi, July 31 (UNI) Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit today met with President Pratibha Patil and congratulated her on her ''historic victory'' in the Presidential elections.

She was accompanied by her Cabinet colleagues and Congress legislators. Deputy Speaker of Delhi Vidhan Sabha Shoaib Iqbal and DPCC President Ram Babu Sharma were also present.

Ms Dikshit said this victory was not only of the Indian woman but a victory of all women of the world.

''Ms Patil's victory has shown that every woman can achieve her goal and rightful place in society,'' she said in a statement.
