Dalmia Cements Q1 net profit at Rs 818.40 mn

Mumbai, July 31 (UNI) Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Limited has reported a 62.77 per cent rise in its profit at Rs 818.40 million in the quarter ended June 2007, from Rs 502.80 million in the same quarter last year.

The company's net sales for the quarter rose to Rs 3481.60 million from Rs 2077.40 million, an increase of 67.59 per cent over the corresponding quarter last fiscal.

The total income rose to Rs 3.197.5 million during the quarter from Rs 2,537.30 million, an increase of 65.43 per cent. The Earning Par Share (EPS) rose to Rs 19.15 from Rs 12.10.
