Chhattisgarh: One naxal shot dead

Jagdalpur (Chhattisgarh), July 31: One naxal was shot dead in a police encounter at Jabeli village in Dantewara district of Chhattisgarh, police said.

The deceased naxal was yet to be identified. A gun, four detonators and other materials were seized from the spot yesterday.

In a separate incident, a villager was killed by naxal at Kusma Kota road in Errabore area last night. The villager was yet to be identified.

According to another report, naxals and CRPF personnel exchanged fire at Keyarpal area in Bijapur district last night. However, no casualty was reported.
