CBI files chargesheet in Sacha Sauda case

Ambala, July 31 (UNI) The CBI has filed a chargesheet in three cases relating to the Dera Sacha Sauda being heard in the court of Special CBI judge here, official sources said today.

A CBI team met Special Judge R N Bharati last night and submitted the chargesheet with regard to the murder of former Dera manager Ranjit Singh, murder of Sirsa-based journalist Ram Chander Chhattrapati and a case about the alleged sexual exploitation of women in the Dera, Heavy Police force was deployed around the residence of special Judge Bharati during the meeting with the CBI team.

Meanwhile, prohibitory orders were imposed in the district today under Section 144 people by District Magistrate R P Bhardwaj, banning assembly of more than five people anywhere in the district.
