BWSSB Official trapped while accepting bribe

Bangalore, July 31 (UNI) A Bangalore Water Supply and Sweage Board Junior Engineer was arrested by the Karnataka Lokayukta police while accepting bribe for showing official favour.

According to a release here today, Rajesh was caught redhand yesterday while accepting Rs 6,000 as bribe from Mr N Nanjappa, who had applied for connection to his new house under construction.

Rajesh was arrested and produced before the Judge who remanded him to judicial custody.
