BWSSB official arrested for accepting bribe

Bangalore, July 31 (UNI) A Bangalore Water Supply and Sewage Board (BWSSB) Junior Engineer was arrested by the Karnataka Lok Ayukta police while accepting bribe for an official favour.

According to an official release here today, Rajesh was caught redhanded yesterday while accepting Rs 6,000 as bribe from Mr N Nanjappa, who had applied for a connection to his in house under construction.

Rajesh, who was produced before the Judge, was remanded to judicial custody, the release added.
