Body of Army jawan found hanging in railway coach

Jammu, July 31 (UNI) An Army jawan was found dead in a railway coach under mysterious circumstances at Jammutawi station here this evening, official sources said.

The body of the jawan, identified as Sepoy S K Verma of 118 Field Regiment (North-East), was found hanging from a cieling fan of a coach parked in the Railway yard of this station at 1630 hrs, the sources said.

Confirming the report, a Jammu-based Defence Ministry spokesman Lt Col S D Goswami said, ''The Army have instituted a Court of Inquiry to ascertain the facts behind the death of the soldier.'' UNI
