Barry demands ban on 'Bow Barrack forever'
Kolkata, July 31 (UNI) Taking exception to screening of the newly released film 'Bow Barrack forever', nominated member in the West Bengal Assembly, Brian O'Brien today demanded a ban on it.
Alleging that the film reflected a wrong picture of the Anglo Indians, Mr O'Brien said during the mention hour in the Assembly that characterisation of the community members amounted to their character assassination.
The member requested the Chief Minister through the Speaker to ensure that the film's director Anjan Dutta either mentions in the title that all the characters were fictitious or there should be a ban on screening of the movie.
