AISMA members stage demo

Chennai, July 31 (UNI) Members of the All India Station Masters Association (AISMA) today staged a slogan shouting demonstration in front of the Southern Railway's suburban terminal here to press their demands.

They were demanding, among other things, scrapping of integrated seniority of station managers with other categories for promotions, implementation of transfer policy and posting of additional station masters at all stations to ensure safe and punctual train operations.
