AIAWU to picket Assembly

Puducherry, July 31 (UNI) The All India Agricultural Workers Union (AIAWU) affiliated to the CPI(M) would picket the Legislative Assembly on August six to press their demands.

Addressing a press conference here today Union Secretary L Kalivaradhan said the workers were demanding 100 days work, free house site pattas, allocation of adequate funds to agricultural labourers welfare association and provision of 20 kg of free rice to the poor.
