Adobe to invest $100 million for expansion in India

Noida, July 31 (UNI) Adobe Systems India Pvt Ltd today said it will invest 100 million dollars by the end of next year to expand its existing offices in Noida and Bangalore.

''We have approached the concerned authority for acquiring land in Noida and hopefully soon we will get the green signal,'' company Senior Vice President Naresh Chand Gupta told UNI on the sidelines of first anniversary celebrations of 'Adobe Youth Voices' programme in the country.

The company is also looking for land in Bangalore, he added.

This expenditure is part of 200 million dollars that the company planned for expanding its business in the country.

The company's global revenue was 2.56 billion dollars in 2006.

''We expect to touch three billion dollars in our global revenue by the end of this year,'' said Mr Gupta.
