Warm and humid weather returns to Delhi after two cool days

New Delhi, July 30 (UNI) After a cool weather over the last couple of days, brought about by heavy showers on Saturday, warm and humid conditions today returned to Delhi with the mercury shooting up to 37.7 degrees Celsius, four degrees above normal.

A clear and suny sky welcomed Delhiites today, after two days of cloudy weather.

The sunlight, coupled with high humidity levels, resulted in the maximum temperature shooting up to 37.7 degrees Celsius, from 34 Degrees yesterday. The heat and the humidity left Delhiites sweltering, forcing most of them to remain indoors.

Similar conditions could prevail for another day or two with weathermen forecasting warm and humid weather in Delhi during the next 24 hours.

The Met office has forecast a partly cloudy sky in the city with possibility of rain and thundershowers in some areas.
