One year-old girl dies of burn injuries

Jalandhar, Jul 30 (UNI) A one-year-old girl died of burn injuries when her house caught fire due to short-circuit here this afternoon.

Police said that Gori, daughter of Noginder Prasad, died in the civil hospital after she sustained 60 per cent burn injuries when her house caught fire due to short-circuit.

At the time of the incident, another child was also present in the house, who escaped with minor burn injuries. The child's mother had gone out to bring home other children from school when her house caught fire.
