NTPC Q1 net up 52.62%

New Delhi, July 30 (UNI) Country's largest power utility NTPC Ltd today said its net profit has increased by 52.62 per cent to Rs 2,369 crore during the quarter ended June 30, 2007 as compared to Rs 1,552 crore during the same period a year ago.

The gross revenue recorded a growth of 19.03 per cent at Rs 9,687 crore during Q1 FY07 as against Rs 8,139 crore during Q1 FY06, it said in a statement.
