Normalcy restored at Mudigonda after police firing
Khammam, Andhra Pradesh, July 30 (UNI) Normalcy today restored at Mudigonda village in this district of Andhra Pradesh, where six people were killed in police firing on July 28 during a dharna demanding land and house sites for the poor.
Police said the area was limping back to normalcy, with the people coming out of the shock and venturing out of their houses. Schools in the village remained open and bus services resumed services.
The law and order situation in the area was totally under control, police said.
Meanwhile, the district judge visited the village to study the situation and interacted with the police, village level officials and the common people. He was preparing a report on the police firing incident.
