Morphosys embarks on 3D feature film

Bangalore, July 30 (UNI) Morphosys Information Services, a Raksha Group subsidiary, has embarked on an ambitious 3D animated movie project 'Honour and Country' in tribute to India's First War of Independence 1857.

The full length movie, which would feature computer graphics is expected to be released in 2008, Raksha Group Chairman and Managing Director Rajesh Kumar told reporters here today.

The hypo-realistic movie would be a gift to the people of India celebrating the 150th year of the First War of Independence, he said.

Merging creative imagination with technology the movie would be company's first foray into the hugely resourceful areas of 3D animation and visual effects, he said.

This would also be an effort by the company's to set standards and a bench mark in the Indian animation industry, he said.

To explore more avenue in the buyant animation industry, the company has proposed to venture into the mobile gaming market, Mr Kumar said.
