LeT recruits arrested in Doda

Jammu, July 30 (UNI) Two newly recruited militants of Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) were arrested by security forces in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir today, a senior police official said.

SSP Doda Manohar Singh told UNI that newly-inducted LeT militants, Aftab Ahmed of village Trenkal and Mohammad Hashim of village Patnazi, were arrested at Bhalla area of the district.

Before joining the LeT, a couple of months ago, the duo were working as Over Ground Workers (OGW) for the outfit, Mr Singh said.

''They (militants) have accepted their affiliation with LeT and are being questioned,'' he said.

However, no weapon or ammunition was recovered from the duo, he said.
