Judicial inquiry into Bali episode possible: CM

Shimla, July 30 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh today said a judicial inquiry into the Bali episode is possible, provided the former transport and tourism minister asks the state government.

''A judicial inquiry into the incident was possible if Mr Bali asks the government in writing. I will consider taking action as and when he makes the request,'' he told reporters here.

Replying to a question whether any disciplinary action was likely against the former minister, Mr Singh said his resignation from the Cabinet was enough.

He termed Mr Bali an effective minister whose functioning was result oriented and said he had left an indelible mark in both the departments he handled, UNI AS HS AKJ KP2009
