HC grants Amarinder "absolute" interim anticipatory bail
Chandigarh, July 30 (UNI) Punjab and Haryana High Court here made ''absolute'' the interim anticipatory bail granted to former Punjab chief minister Amarinder Singh in the case registered by Punjab Vigilance Bureau for his alleged role in ''Ludhiana City Centre scam''.
The bail, granted on April 5, would now be valid till the investigating agency files the challan in the court, wherafter Amarinder Singh would have to seek regular bail, the court said.
Singh's co-petitioner wife, Lok Sabha member Perneet Kaur, must be given a 10-day notice if she was needed for the probe into the case, the court ordered.
