Haryana Governor accepts Mullana's resignation

Chandigarh, July 30: Haryana Governor A R Kidwai today accepted the resignation of Mr Phool Chand Mullana from the Council of Ministers, a Raj Bhawan spokesman here stated.

Mr Mullana, the Education and Sports Minister, had submitted his resignation to Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda following his appointment as Haryana Pradesh Congress Committee (HPCC) president last week. The Chief Minister had forwarded the resignation to Raj Bhawan.

Mr Hooda will retain the portfolios held by Mr Mullana.
