Goa episodes exposes undemocratic face of Congress: BJP

New Delhi, July 30 (UNI) The BJP today termed the keeping away of two MGP MLAs from participating in the voting on the confidence motion in Goa as ''murder of democracy'' which exposed the undemocratic face of the Congress.

BJP spokesman Prakash Javadekar said it was not only ''undemocratic but unconstitutional decision'' to bar the two legislators from participating in the Assembly proceedings without giving them any notice or He said the BJP would take recourse to legal remedy against this unconstitutional decision, as a result of which the Kamat government won the trust vote on the floor of the Assembly by a voice vote.
