Brothers beaten to death

Allahabad, July 30 (UNI) Two brothers were allegedly beaten to death by gram pradhan in Ghoorpur area here today.

Tribhuvan (55) and Swayamvar (60) of Chakmeer Fazal Ali village were putting a thatched roof on their hut, which was opposed by gram pradhan Bhaiyalal.

When the matter snowballed, the brother duo was severely assaulted by Bhaiyalal, resulting in their on-the-spot death, police said.

Two nieces of the deceased were also wounded in the incident.

A search to nab the absconding accused had been launched.
