BJP condemns killings of Gujarati tourists in Srinagar
Ahmedabad, Jul 30 (UNI) Gujarat BJP today strongly condemned the killing of four Gujarati tourists in yesterday's bomb blast, suspected to be set by terrorists in Srinagar.
Gujarat BJP President Purshottam Rupala, in a statement here, condemned the killings of Gujarati tourists, who hailed from Vadodara city.
Mr Rupala alleged that the wrong policies of Congress-led UPA government at the Centre and Kashmir government were responsible for not curbing terrorism in trouble-torn Kashmir and other States of country, resulting in killings of innocent citizens.
He said removal of 'TADA' Act had given ''free-hand'' to terrorists and disruptive elements, who killed innocent people and disturbed peace and communal harmony between people of different communities.
''The incident has sent a wrong signal to the tourists from Gujarat and other States who were visiting Kashmir. It will put a halt on the visit of tourists to Kashmir, causing a big block on revival of economy of that State which is mainly based on tourism,'' he added.
