BHEL profit up 22 per cent in Q1, 07

New Delhi, July 30 (UNI) Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has posted a net profit a Rs 289 crore in the first quarter of 2007-08, a rise of 22 per cent over the corresponding period in the last fiscal.

Sales income from operations was Rs 3,570 crore, up 24 per cent over the previous ficsal figures, according to company results announced today.
