Bear injures child in Kangra

Dharamshala, Jul 30 (UNI) A 13-year-old girl was severely injured after a bear attacked her in Barnati village of Kangra district in Himachal Pradesh early today, police and forest officials said.

Rashmi was playing in the fields when a wild bear attacked her and left her profusely bleeding after inflicting severe injuries on her right thigh, they said.

The injured girl was first rushed to Dr R P Government Medical College and Hospital here and later admitted to a local civil hospital.
