Akruti Q1 net at Rs 46.42cr

New Delhi, July 30 (UNI) Realty developer Akruti Nirman Ltd (ANL) today said it has recorded a net profit of Rs 46.42 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2007.

The company posted a turnover of Rs 63.78 crore in the said period.

The net sales and net profit for the fiscal 2006-07 stood at Rs 177.89 crore and Rs 75.48 crore respectively.

''We have already achieved over one-third of last years entire turnover in this first quarter, and over 60 per cent of last years net profits in this single quarter, and still have three more quarters to go,'' company's Managing Director Vyomesh M Shah said.

Akruti Nirman Ltd has embarked on an project to develop a 708 acres IT Bio- Tech park in Savli (Gujarat), 14 km away from Vadodra in consortium with GIDC.

The company is also acquiring 1,000 acres of land for a township near Mumbai, a press release said.
