15 Kg IED recovered in Doda

Jammu, July 30 (UNI) An improvised explosive device (IED) weighing 15 kilograms, was recovered today by the Army in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir, a Defence Ministry spokesman said.

Troops of 63 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) ( BIHAR) recovered IED at Angara, North East of Drabshala in Doda, the spokesman said.

Earlier, troops of 48 Rashtriya Rifles (Garhwal rifles) unearthed a militant hideout and recovered an electric IED, one kg RDX, two Chinese hand grenades, four UBGL grenades, assorted ammunition and other miscellaneous warlike stores yesterday.
