SUV in Minister's escort rams into truck, cop injured

Lucknow, July 29 (UNI) A policeman was grievously injured after a speeding SUV in the escort of Uttar Pradesh Rural Development Minister Daddu Prasad dashed against an oncoming truck in the state capital late last night.

The mishap took place on the Lucknow-Kanpur highway near the Amausi Airport, in which sub-inspector Keshav Prasad got severely injured.

The wounded was rushed to the Civil Hospital and his condition, at present, was not life threatening, police said today.
