Civil works for the prestigious 220 KV substation, Bhuna in district Fatehabad, which is a major component of the transmission project, is half way through.
A spokesman of DHBVN said here today that for this purpose, the Haryana Vidyut Prasaran Nigam (HVPN) has envisaged an ambitious plan of Rs 60 crore to augment power supply in the paddy belt fed through 132 KV substations.
Under this plan, the Nigam is constructing a 220 KV substation at Bhuna at a cost of Rs 45.5 crore, a 132 KV substation at Bhuthan Kalan at a cost of Rs 5.50 crore, a 132 KV substation at Jakhal at a cost of Rs 8.31 crore.
