Kohima, Jul 29: The NSCN(K) has questioned the integrity and sincerity of the Joint Forum Working Committee(JFWC) of the Nagaland Gaon Burah Federation (GB) and Nagaland Dobhasis Association (DB) in declaring the cease-fire between Naga factions on July 24 last at Dimapur.

Rather, it had accused the GBs and DBs of acting at the behest of the NSCN-IM.

In a statement issued by the Secretary, 'Ministry of Information and Publicity' (MIP) of the 'Government of People's Republic of Nagaland' (GPRN) it was claimed that since last year, the GPRN leaders knew well that the rival leaders were frantically searching someone after nullification of the May 2006 cease-fire agreement at Zunheboto, to broker peace between the Naga factions.

At least, the rival leadership found the Nagaland GB's Federation to entrust to do the Herculean task. The GBs in turn involved the DBs in their mission.

It further claimed that the leaders of the GBs and DBs came to meet the NSCN (K) leaders at Mon on June 26 last with the five-point resolutions they had adopted on June six last at Kohima. During this they assured the GBs and DBs that the outfit was accepting the resolutions in 'principle'.

The NSCN (K), however, said during their second meeting at Mon on July 11 last, the Forum came with a separate draft paper signed by Samson Jajo, principal secretary and some of the leaders of the Joint Forum.

From that point of time it began doubting the integrity and sincerity of the leaders of the GBs and DBs.
