JVM to contest Jamshedpur LS bypoll on its own : Marandi

Ranchi, Jul 29 (UNI) Former Jharkhand Chief Minister and Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (Democratic) president Babulal Marandi today said the party would contest the byelection to Jamshedpur Loksabha seat on its own.

Talking to reporters here, Mr Marandi said the name of the party candidate would be announced soon.

Accusing the UPA-backed Madhu Koda government for "rampant corruption and criminal activities", Mr Marandi said the party would launch agitational programmes from September one to ten in block headquarters throughout the state.

A rally would be organised on November 26 at the historical Morhabadi ground here, Mr Marandi added.
