Hooda to give representation to Kashyap community
Jind, July 29 (UNI) Due representation would be given to the Kashyap Rajput Community in the organisation of Haryana Pradesh Congress (HPC) and in the Government also.
This assurance was given by Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda to Kashyap Rajput Samaj while addressing its state level Mahasammelan here today.
The Chief Minister said that the support of Kashyap Rajput had always been with the Congress Party. He reminded them that when the present Congress government was formed in the state, it had taken a number of steps to safeguard the interests of poor and weaker sections of the society.
He said that all the decisions taken by the government were aimed at providing benefit to the poorest of the poor so that their socio-economic condition could be ameliorated .
Mr Hooda was of the view that as and when the poor strata of society did not support the Congress Party in the election it had to lose power.
While lauding the role of Kashyap Samaj, Mr Hooda said that the Samaj had given yeoman's services to the society and keeping in view the devotion and dedication of organisation, the government had resolved to give due honour as well as participation its representative in the government and in the party.
The Chief Minister announced a grant of Rs 11 lakh from his discretionary fund for the construction of Maharish Kashyap temple and Kashyap Rajput Dharamshala, the foundation stone of which was also laid by the Chief Minister today.
