"Haunting Memories" lift the Bangalore City Gold Cup

Bangalore, July 29 (UNI) Hot favourite "Haunting Memories" ridden by B Prakash easily won the Bangalore City Gold Cup, the main event of the races held here today.

The winner of joint owned by Dr M A M Ramaswamy and Mr Zavaray S Poonawall represent Poonawal racing and Breed Ltd and trained by S Ganapathy.

Ganapathy and Prakash scored a treble each, while trainer Darius Byramji and jockey Vivek scored a double each.

Three favourites obliged in a long card of nine events.
