Haryana govt motivating MNCs to set up units:Minister

Sirsa, July 29 (UNI) The Haryana Government is giving special thrust for motivating the multi-national companies for setting up of industries and as a result a number of multi-natinal companies were coming forward for setting up of their ventures in the state.

This was disclosed by Industries Minister Lachhman Dass Arora while addressing a gathering after inaugurating Yogiraj Devi Dayal Memorial Yog Sansthan at Kotli village in the district today.

Mr Arora said that the government had implemented a new industrial policy and the result of the industrial policy were very encouraging as an investment of over Rs 40,000 crore had been made during the last 28 months in the state.

He also announced a grant of Rs five lakh for the construction of Swami Devi Dayal Memorial.
