Corporate honchos walk the ramp, break from boardrooms

Kolkata, Jul 29 (UNI) To help corporate bigwigs unwind and give them a break from the boring boardroom meetings, Unite Spirits organised a 'Royal Mist Style Icon '07' model hunt yesterday.

The Eastern India's first corporate fashion show conducted here was to give the corporate honchos an opportunity and a platform to showcase and flaunt their style and attitudes.

From over 80 entries from IBM, Sony Electronics, India Bulls, Times of India, Emami, ICICI Lombard, LG Electronics, Wipro and Birla Corporation, about 20 were shortlisted for the event.

All the participants got an amazing makeover given by Kolkata's upcoming fashion choreographer Amit Pandey.

Five finalists, chosen by the panel of judges, would share the ramp with internationally acclaimed models at the ''Royal Mist Demigods, 2007'' to be held here on August 4.

The United Spirits Limited (East) CEO said, ''Corporate executives , especially men, never got an opportunity to showcase their talents, so we have given them a platform to allow their styles do the talking for them.'' UNI DPM PP/src1611
