City experiences pleasant morning weather

Kolkata, Jul 29 (UNI) Last night's heavy thundershower today gave way to pleasant morning weather with possibility of more rain later in the evening.

Met officials have predicted that there will be more rain later in the evening, with humidity remaining high at 97 per cent.

Maximum temperature was recorded at 31.8 degrees Celsius and minimum temperature was pegged at 25.2 degrees Celsius, both being considerably lower than normal.

About 22.2 mm rainfall was recorded in the past 24 hours, a Met official said.
