Building for HC cirtuit bench to be ready next year: Minister

Haveri, July 29 (UNI) Karnataka Public Works Minister H D Revanna today said that the building for High Court circuit bench being built at Water and Land Management Institute (WALMI) near Dharwad would be handed over by March 2008.

Talking to newsmen here, he said by that time the construction work of the whole building would be complete and would be handed over to the Law department, while Gulbarga building would be ready by July next year.

Replying to a question, Mr Revanna said a proposal to upgrade Hubli-Bijapur road would be submitted soon to the concerned.

Agriculture produce marketing centers would be opened at Hubli-Dharwad, Bijapur, Hassan and Bagalkot on the lines of Karnataka milk Federation.

When his attention was drawn towards the news about he becoming deputy chief minister making rounds in the state politics, Mr Revanna said newspapers reports were just rumours. "I will carry on with any responsibility given to me by party supremo Deve Gowda," he said.
