23 Zilla Parishad seats for SCs, STs and Women

Imphal, Jul 29: The State government has announced the reservation of 23 Zilla Parishad constituencies in the four Zilla Parishads of Imphal east, Imphal west, Thoubal and Bishnupur for SCs, STs and women for the ensuing Panchayat body elections in September.

A notification had been issued in this connection by the Commissioner (Rural Development and Panchayat Raj), Manipur.
