2 boys killed as woman sets self, children ablaze

Ahmedabad, July 29 (UNI) Two boys were burnt to death while their mother and sister are battling for life in a city hospital here after the woman set herself and the children afire at Hussenikhan Pathankichali locality here late last evening.

Shahnaz Banu set herself and her three children afire late last evening. Her two sons -- Nadim (13) and Nayeem (3) -- died at the hospital, while the woman and her nine-year-old daughter Anjum are battling for life in a city hospital, police said.

Police said Shahnaz's husband Sarfrauddin Ansari is working in Saudi Arabia and she was depressed.
