NTPC, RINL ink MoU fors Power plant in Vizag

Visakhapatnam, July 28: National Thermal Power Coporation (NTPC) and the Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited( RINL), the corporate entity of Visakha Steel Plant (VSP) today, signed a Memorandum of Understanding for setting up a 150 mw gas turbine combined cycle power plant here.

The MoU for the Joint Venture (JV) was signed by RINL CMD P K Bishnoi and NTPC CMD T Sankarlingam, a release from VSP said here today.

The power required by the RINL would be made available by the JV company in the bus bar of the project for off-take by RINL with an option to other consumers, it added.
