Guna, MP, July 28 (UNI) The procedure for taking action against BJP legislators, who did not cast votes as per fixed parameters during recently-held presidential elections, has started.

Senior BJP leader and former Chief Minister Kailash Joshi said eleven votes were rejected as invalid because some legislators did not cast their votes as per the procedure. Some legislators had even written 'Jai Sri Ram' on the ballots.

He said efforts were being made to find out the details. A list had been sought from the Election Commission so that erring legislators could be identified and action taken against them.

Mr Joshi refused to comment on reasons for the loss of party in the assembly by-election to Shivpuri constituency but said review process was underway.

Praising the BJP Government's working style, he said a lot of development work was going on in rural areas. The Centre was supporting the state government fully.

He said 'Vikas Yatras' would be started in August and September.
