Marathi film director Madhavrao Deshpande passes away

Kolhapur, July 28 (UNI) Marathi film director Madhavrao Deshpande died at his residence after a heart attack here today.

He was 75 and is survived by his wife and a married son.

Mr Deshpane, who also worked in the Marathi film industry's editing section, was very well known for his writings on cinema in newspapers.

As a director, he directed two marathi films 'Raosaheb' and 'Paschyatap'.
