Jharkhand: Hardcore naxal arrested in Saranda

Jamshedpur, Jul 28: In a major breakthrough, police has arrested one hardcore naxalite from Saranda forest at Karampada in Jharkhand's West Singhbhum district yesterday.

Police today said acting on a tip-off, Premchand Barla, alias Sunil, was nabbed while he was going to attend the martyr's day fuction of a comrade.

Barla was involved in several naxalite attacks, including killing of 12 CRPF jawans by landmine blast in June last year.

The state police was looking for the ultra since past four years.
