Govt to implement recommendations of Land Committee report

Hyderabad, July 28 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Revenue Minister D Prasada Rao today said the government would implement the recommendations of K Ranga Rao Land Committee report and distribute land and house sites to the poor in the state.

Addressing the media here, Mr Rao said the government had issued a G O to implement the recommendations of the Land Commission report.

As many as 30 recommendations were reffered to the House Committee.

He said the modalities for the appointment of Special Commissioner for the implementation of the report recommendations would be chalked out in a week.

Stating that there was no need to set up seperate Land Commission as the Left parties were demanding, the Minister alleged that the Left parties were 'politicising' the land issue.
