FIR lodged against man for promising SSB jobs

Pilibhit, July 28 (UNI) A case has been registered against a man for promising jobs to two unemployed youth in Shashastra Seema Bal (SSB) here.

Police said Ashok Kumar had taken Rs 1.4 lakh from Anup Kumar and Kundan Kumar of Bihar promising jobs in the SSB.

Later, Ashok prepared forged documents of these gullible youth and sent them to the headquarters of 26th SSB battalion for selection.

However, the two applicants were called for interrogation, after the Deputy Commandant doubted the veracity of the documents during scrutiny.

Last evening, a case was registered at Sungadi police station against Ashok, who was absconding.
