Arms, ammunition recovered from militant hideout in Reasi

Jammu, July 27 (UNI) A huge cache of arms and ammunition hidden by the militants in a natural cave hideout was unearthed by security forces at Arnas area of Jammu and Kashmir's Reasi district, a defence ministry spokesman today said.

Based on a tip-off, troops of 61 Rashtriya Rifles along with paramilitary and police personnel recovered the cache comprising of three RPG Rockets, assorted ammunition, six UBGL Grenades, six Chinese hand grenades, four Rocket Boosters CH, two IED containers from a hideout in Ganja forests, the spokesman said.

Besides, one telescopic sight RL, one RL disposable, one UBGL, and other miscellaneous warlike stores were also seized during the search operation.
