25-year-old injured while getting down from Blueline

New Delhi, July 28 (UNI) A 25-year-old young man was seriously injured after coming under the wheels of a Blueline bus in Azadpur area of North Delhi this morning.

However, the driver of the bus, plying on route no 181 (Jehangirpri to Nizamuddin), Rajesh (43) has been arrested, said the police.

The incident took place when the victim Bawana-resident Rajiv (25) was getting down from the bus near Azadpur Subzi Mandi at about 0815 hrs. He slipped and came under the rear wheel.

He was admitted to the Bara Hindu Rao Hospital where his condition was said to be serious.
