One arrested for circulating fake notes in Surat

Surat, July 27 (UNI) One person has been arrested for allegedly circulating fake currency notes in the city today.

Surat police sources said Suleman Gafar Tumbi was caught distributing fake notes totalling Rs 15,000 in the denomination of Rs 500 here. His other accomplices Nakil Haaji Arif Noraani and Haaji Ismail Sayaaro, however, gave a slip to the police.

The gang used to bring the notes from Dubai and distribute them in Surat, sources added.

UNI
