'Management' plays vital role: Vigilance Commissioner

Visakhapatnam, July 27 (UNI) The Central Vigilance Commissioner Ranjana Kumar today said 'management' played a vital role in shaping the future of an organisation, as optimum utilization of all other resources depended on its efficiency.

Addressing a keynote here on ''betting on human potential: vital need for success of an organisation'', organised by the centre for banking studies and research and Department of Commerce and Management Studies of Andhra University, she said the core of successful management lied in its clarity of vision and plan of action to implement the successful business agenda.

Ms Kumar said one factor that remained as an enigma to managers all over the world was that the man-management was by and large called a science, but human resources management was more than a science, it is an art too.
